O’Mara’s Hotel, initially built in 1872 before being rebuilt in 1910, is located in central Maryland Street, Stanthorpe, with log fire and warm friendly atmosphere and hearty pub meals.

The Stanthorpe RSL provides a sumptuous steak night on Wednesday nights and live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm. Ballandean Tavern is the new kid off the block on the Granite Belt in the long standing tradition of country pubs. A family affair - introducing Stephanie and Ian Elms with their two sons - Jack and Rick. Steph and Ian were the brains behind custom building a waterhole for the locals of Ballandean - and what a great success it has been. An immediate attendance of ‘regulars’ and the weekends filled with laughter coming from the verandahs looking over Ballandean Valley. A game of pool, laughs between friends, and tucking into a scrumptious dinner at the restaurant from a menu to make any pub meal cry fowl. For a truly local experience make this a must! |
