The Big Apple at the Summit Moved from it's old spot at the Service Station on the corner of Mayfair La and the New England Hwy, The Big Apple is now located at Thulimbah just off the Highway, but still visible from the highway.

Ballandean Dinosaur Down near Ballandean the dinosaurs roam. On the side of the road is a life size sculpture of an ancient Triceretops. But don't worry, he's harmless.

Stanthorpe Post Office BUILT: 1901 INFO: Made from locally manufactured bricks & local granite foundations. The illuminated clock, which came from England, was installed in 1903. The architect - JS Murdoch was the first Australian Commonwealth Government architect.

Stanthorpe Brass Monkey This strange little character sits in the main street, across the road from the Post Office. He lets visitors know just how cold it gets here.

Stanthorpe Red Bridge BUILT: 1885-1888 INFO: Mainly manpower and horse drawn drays were used to remove the rock used for the large amount of banking required for the Red Bridge construction.

Ballandean Pyramid At Ballandean, rising out of the surrounding scrub, is a huge man made pyramid. It can be seen from the highway.
